Heartbleed Security Vulnerability Endangers User Data on the Internet

A serious security vulnerability in the OpenSSL software library is putting user’s information at risk across the internet.  OpenSSL is used within many common web technologies like Apache, nginx , common email and chat services, and much of the technology that allows us to communicate securely on the internet.  Popular email services like Yahoo and dating service OKCupid have been shown to be vulnerable.

netfishes servers are not susceptible to this vulnerability, however if you use the same password on other sites, it may be a good idea to change your password here, as well as any other site with your private data.  You can check if sites you use are at risk using the Heartbleed Test.   For more information about the Heartbleed vulnerability, visit heartbleed.com
